Journalist and producer. Founder of production company Pace. Born in 1958 in Pereira, Colombia. Came to Japan in 1981. After working as a journalist for the Spanish newspaper El Pais and Televisión Española,  served as a special correspondent for Agencia EFE Spanish News Agency from 1997 to 2007. Has contributed articles to numerous Spanish-language publications. Has also done work for Japanese media outlets, including NHK, Kansai Television, Asahi Graph, Mainichi Graph, and Focus.
