Hayashi Kaori

Professor of information studies, University of Tokyo. Received her PhD in socio-information studies from the University of Tokyo. Has been an economic correspondent for Reuters Japan and a Humboldt research fellow at the University of Bamberg, Germany. Currently serves as a member of BPO (Broadcasting Ethics & Program Improvement Organization). Works include Onna/kodomo no jānarizumu (Journalism for Women and Children). Member of the Nippon.com editorial committee.
