Higa Masahiro

Managing director of the Central Union of Agricultural Cooperatives (JA-Zenchu). Graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture of Kyoto University. Joined JA-Zenchu in 1983. Became head of the education department in 2008, head of the planning and coordination department in 2011, and director of the Japan Cooperative General Research Institute in 2014; assumed his current position in 2015.
