Nakano Fujio

Nonfiction writer and science and technology journalist. Specially appointed professor at the Unit for Synergetic Studies of Space, Kyoto University. Earned his doctorate at the University of Tokyo’s School of Engineering. Traveled to Australia in 1978 to research the Aboriginal people. Began writing in 1982. Works include Nihon no uchū kaihatsu (Japan’s Space Program) and Kagaku gijutsu wa naze shippai suru no ka (Why do Scientific and Technological Failures Happen?).
