    Senior research fellow at the Fujitsu Research Institute. Born in 1963. Received a master’s degree in business administration and public policy from Tsukuba University. Previously worked at the Nomura Research Institute and the Fuji Research Institute and has been a visiting scholar at Keiō University. Specializes in housing and land policy and the Japanese economy. His published works include Akiya kyūzō no shinjitsu (The Truth Behind the Rapid Increase in Vacant Homes) and Shōshi kōreika jidai no jūtaku shijō (The Housing Market in the Era of a Declining Birthrate and Aging Population).
