Musical cats, miniature classrooms, Godzilla, and more are on display at the 2016 International Tokyo Toy Show.

Munyumunyu Do-re-mi-fa Kyatto from Takara Tomy Arts are cute and musical cats. Press down on their pleasantly squishy backs and they mew a tune. Users can also switch them to single-note mode and play their own masterpieces.

This year marks the twentieth anniversary of Bandai’s Tamagotchi. In its latest Tamagotchi M!x, the digital pets get married and pass on their genes to the next generation.

This S.H. Monster Arts Godzilla figure from Bandai is based on the new version from the movie Shin Gojira (Godzilla Resurgence), set to open in Japan on July 29, 2016.

Ouchi de Kantan Minna de Aisu from Happinet is an appliance for easily making ice cream at home. Chill it in the freezer, add milk and other ingredients, press the switch, and the ice cream is ready in no time.

Tōei Animation displays its Yuruuui Gegege no Kitarō Line stickers in its booth. These are a more adorable take on the scary manga series. The studio will also release related mascot goods.

This display combines Spiderman, Iron Man, and other Marvel superheroes from Takara Tomy’s Metal Figure Collection with themed Tomica vehicles.

Sawayaka 4-Kumi from Re-ment is a tiny, but detailed, re-creation of an elementary school classroom, an entry in its Petit Sample Series.

Bandai’s Kapukyara Fujiko F. Fujio characters are assembled using parts from capsules designed with character faces.

In the Panel World Go! Shinkansen series, users create courses for trains to run on by slotting together panels like pieces of a jigsaw.

Takara Tomy’s Licca-chan doll will celebrate her fiftieth anniversary in 2017. The 2015 version Licca targets adults with a particular emphasis on stylish clothing.
