Ataka Kazuto

Chief strategy officer, Yahoo Japan. After earning his MS from the University of Tokyo in 1993, entered McKinsey and Company. Enrolled in the Interdepartmental Neuroscience Program at Yale University in 1997 and received his doctorate in 2001. Returned to McKinsey and moved to Yahoo Japan in 2008, becoming director of the office of the chief operating officer and head of the Business Strategy Unit before assuming his current position in 2012.
