Daidō Atsushi

Born in Tokyo in 1984. Received a master’s degree in science and engineering from Meiji University. Moved to Tainan, Taiwan, in 2012 and ran a soba restaurant, Dong Soba, for five years. Currently head of Kakuon Translation. Author of multiple books, including Summer Breeze: Sketches of a Trip Around Taiwan, Touring Tainan, A Wind Blowing through Formosa, and Taiwan’s Japanese-made Majolica Tiles.
