Edakubo Tatsuya
Railway journalist, writer, and researcher on the history of urban transportation and railways. Born in 1982 in Saitama Prefecture. Worked for Tokyo Metro Co., where he handled tasks including publicity and marketing research, until retiring in 2017. His book Senjika no chikatetsu: Shinbashi-eki maboroshi no hōmu to Teito Kōsokudo Kōtsū Eidan (Wartime Subways: Shinbashi Station’s Phantom Platform and the Teito Rapid Transit Authority) won a Transportation Book Award for best history work. Most recently the author of JR Higashi Nihon datsu-tetsudō no seichō senryaku (JR East’s Nonrail Growth Strategy).
