Fujii Seiichirō

Associate professor at Daito Bunka University, specializing in municipal government and public administration. Born in 1970 in Hiroshima Prefecture. Graduate and former faculty member of Dōshisha University. Enrolled in Dōshisha’s postgraduate program as a student with a full-time job, earning his PhD in policy science at 43. Appointed full-time lecturer at Daito Bunka University in 2015; took his present position in 2018. Publications include Gomi shūshū to iu shigoto—Seisōsha ni notte kangaeta chihō shakai (The Work of Trash Collection: Thoughts on Local Communities While Riding in Garbage Trucks) and Jūmin sanka no genba to riron—Tomo-no-Ura, keikan no mirai (Citizen Participation in Theory and Practice: The Future of the Tomo-no-Ura Landscape).
