Fukuda Shin’ichi
Professor, University of Tokyo Graduate School of Economics. Graduated from the University of Tokyo Faculty of Economics and received his Ph.D. in economics from Yale University. Has held his current post since 2001. Awarded the Japanese Economic Association’s Ishikawa Prize in 2009. His many works include Nihon no chōki kin’yū (Japan’s Long-Term Finance [ed.]) and Kin’yūron: Shijō to keizai seisaku no yūkōsei (Financial Theory: Markets and the Effectiveness of Economic Policy).
