• Hanazaki Masaharu

    Professor, Hitotsubashi University Graduate School of Commerce and Management, specializing in corporate governance. Born in Tokyo in 1957. Graduated and earned his PhD in economics from Waseda University. Has been a researcher with the Japan Development Bank, a visiting fellow at the Brookings Institution, and director of the Research Institute of Capital Formation. Publications include Nihon keizai: Henkakuki no kinyū to kigyō kōdō (The Japanese Economy: Financial Development and Corporate Behavior in a Changing Environment) and Kigyō kinyū to kōporēto gabanansu (Corporate Financing and Governance).
