Hashimoto Junji

Journalist specializing in water issues related to the environment, climate change, disasters, and infrastructure. Head of the research organization Aqua-Sphere, research director at the Tokyo Foundation, and visiting professor in sustainability studies at Musashino University. Previous posts include visiting associate professor at Tokyo Gakugei University, expert for the Japan International Cooperation Agency, and special researcher in the First Special Research Office of the House of Councillors. His works include 67 oku nin no mizu: sōdatsu kara jiizoku kanō e (Water for Humanity: From Conflict to Sustainability) and Suidō min’eika de mizu wa dō naru (What Will be the Impact of Privatizing the Waterworks?).
