Hata Masaki

Associate professor at the Osaka University of Economics, where he specializes in political psychology, political behavioral theory, and contemporary Japanese politics. Born in Hiroshima in 1988. Earned his undergraduate degree from Osaka City University and did his graduate work in political science at Kobe University. Taught at the University of Kitakyūshū and Kyoto Prefectural University before taking his present post in 2024. His publications include Inbōron: Minshushugi o yurugasu mekanizumu (Conspiracy Theories as Mechanisms for Undermining Democracy).
