Born in Tokyo in 1967. Became interested in Apple and the computer industry in 1979. Began work as a freelance journalist in 1990 while a college student at the University of Houston. Since 1991, he has attended almost every official Apple event and has conducted numerous interviews with top Apple executives and other leading figures associated with the company. His works include Sutību Jobuzu: Idai naru kurieitibu direkutā no kiseki (Steve Jobs: The Path of a Great Creative Director) and Sutību Jobuzu wa nani o nokoshita ka (The Legacy of Steve Jobs).
