Hiyama Yukio

Professor in the Faculty of Law at Chūkyō University since 1981. Specializes in topics including the Sino-Japanese War of 1894–95, Japanese rule in Taiwan, and memorials for the war dead. His published works include Kindai Nihon no keisei to Nis-Shin sensō (The Formation of Modern Japan and the Sino-Japanese War of 1894–95).
