Ikei Masaru

Professor emeritus, Keiō University. Earned his undergraduate degree and PhD in law from the same school, where he was also an assistant professor and professor in the Faculty of Law. Was also a professor in the School of International Politics, Economics, and Communication at Aoyama Gakuin University. Specializes in Japanese diplomatic history. Works include Santei Nihon gaikōshi gaisetsu (An Overview of Japanese Diplomacy, Third Revised Edition), Orinpikku no seijigaku (The Political Science of the Olympics), and Chū-Nichi Amerika taishi (US Ambassadors to Japan).
