• Inose Naoki

    Vice-governor of Tokyo, author. Born in 1946. Received his master’s degree in politics from Meiji University. Awarded the Ōya Prize for his Mikado no shōzō (The Mikado’s Portrait) and the Bungei Shunjū Reader’s Prize for Nihonkoku no kenkyū (A Study of Japan). Has served as a member of various government panels, including the Promotion Committee for the Privatization of the Four Highway-Related Public Corporations, and has been vice-governor of Tokyo since June 2007.
