Isoda Fumio

Professor and director, Nagoya University Asian Satellite Campuses Institute. Earned an undergraduate degree in law from the University of Tokyo and completed master’s studies at Stanford University. Joined the Ministry of Education, Science, Sports, and Culture in 1977. Served as director-general of the Research Promotion Bureau and the Higher Education Bureau, among other posts, before assuming his current position in August 2014. Is the author of Kyōiku gyōsei (Education Administration), among other works.
