Kit Takenaga

Freelance photographer born in Fukuoka Prefecture in 1948. After graduating from Kagoshima University, he spent 30 years working in an office job before becoming a professional photographer. His photograph collections include Kokoro ni nokoru meifūkei: Nihon no tanada (Unforgettable Scenery: Japan’s Terraced Rice Fields) and Rice Fields in Japan. Since 2003, he has produced a popular daily email newsletter.
