Kitazumi Yūki

Journalist. President of video content development firm Yangon Henshū Production. Born in Tokyo in 1975. After graduating from the School of Political Science and Economics, Waseda University, worked as a reporter for the Nihon Keizai Shimbun and elsewhere. In 2014 he relocated to Yangon, Myanmar, where he continued reporting. Following the 2021 coup d’état, he was detained by Burmese authorities and deported to Japan.
