Matsuo Ryūsaku

Visiting scholar at Tōyō University’s Institute of Social Sciences and researcher at Hito to Michi Kenkyūkai, an NPO that studies the relationships between communities and roads. Born in 1966 in Hyōgo Prefecture. Graduated from Tōhoku University and earned his PhD in economics from Kobe University. Publications include Michi no eki no keizaigaku (The Economics of Roadside Rest Areas).
