Matt Treyvaud

Translator and writer based in the Shōnan area of Kanagawa Prefecture. Recent published translations include Natsume Sōseki’s Twelve Nights Dreaming, Takashina Shūji’s The Japanese Sense of Beauty, and Tobi Hirotaka’s The Thousand Year Beach. In his spare time he studies historical linguistics and plays the shakuhachi.
