• Nanba Tomoko

    Associate professor, Faculty of Core Research, Humanities Division, Ochanomizu University. Born in Okayama Prefecture in 1980. Began teaching at Ochanomizu University in 2012 after earning a PhD from the institute. Assumed her current post in 2017. Works include Gakkōseifuku no bunkashi: Nihon kindai ni okeru joshiseito fukusō no hensen (A Cultural History of School Uniforms: The Transformation of Female Student Uniforms in Modern Japan) and Kindai Nihon gakkōseifuku zuroku (An Illustrated Guide of School Uniforms in Modern Japan).
