Natsume Hideo
Born in Tokyo in 1995; moved to Beijing with his family when he was just 5. Earned dual degrees in law and business management from Tsinghua University before going on to gain a master’s degree from the same school in public policy. Since returning to Japan, he has worked for a Japanese governmental agency on projects linking Japan and China, while writing about youth trends and technology in China. He also operates an educational project called Dot Station that sends Japanese high school students to China to learn about that country’s technology, entrepreneurship, and public policy.
