Ōishi Yutaka

Dean of the Graduate School of Law, Keiō University. Born in 1956. Graduated from the Keiō University Faculty of Law in 1979 with a major in political science. Received his doctorate in law in 1985. Has been director of the Keiō University Institute for Media and Communications Research and the Japan Society for Studies in Journalism and Mass Communication. Author of Media no naka no seiji (Politics in the Media), Sengo Nihon no media to shimin ishiki (Media and Civic Awareness in Postwar Japan), and other works.
