Okada Atsushi

Photographer and doctor of arts. Born in 1979. Recipient of the Kimura Ihei Award in 2008. Since 2011, has photographed horses on Yururi Island, Hokkaidō. Works from this project have received several prestigious awards, including the Hokkaidō Cultural Encouragement Award. Publications include Yururitō no uma (The Horses of Yururi Island). In 2026, he will have a solo exhibition in Tokyo (February–March), Sapporo (September), and Osaka (October–November).
