Sasaki Toshinao

Author and journalist. Born in Hyōgo Prefecture in 1961. After studying political economy at Waseda University, wrote for the Mainichi Shimbun and other outlets before going independent in 2003. Currently investigates and writes stories on everything from technology, politics, and economics to social and lifestyle issues. Serves on the editorial board for the government’s White Paper on Information and Communications in Japan; author of works including Jikan to tekunorojī (Time and Technology) and Kyurēshon no jidai (The Age of Curation).
