Shimazaki Kenji

Professor at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies. Graduated from the University of Tokyo in 1978. Joined the Ministry of Health (now Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare). Has been an associate professor at Chiba University, deputy director general at the Institute of Population and Social Security Research (IPSS), and a visiting professor at the University of Tokyo. His works include Nihon no iryō—Seido to seisaku (Health Care in Japan–Systems and Policies) and Zaitaku iryō no tenbō (Prospects of Home Health Care; co-ed.)
