Tsukamoto Masahiko

Professor at Kobe University. Chairman of the nonprofit Wearable Computer Research and Development Organization (also known as Team Tsukamoto). After earning a master's degree at Kyoto University in 1989, found employment with the Sharp Corporation as a research engineer primarily involved in developing communications systems. Subsequently appointed assistant professor in the Department of Information Systems Engineering at Osaka University and later associate professor in the same university's Graduate School of Information Science. Appointed professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Kobe University Graduate School of Engineering, in 2004. Professor in the Faculty of Engineering, Kobe University Graduate School of Engineering, since 2007. A daily user of wearable computers since 2001.
