Watari Tadashi
Associate professor at Juntendō University, where he specializes in the sociology of sport and disabled sport. Born in 1979 in Hokkaido. Holds a BA in literature from Chiba University and a PhD from the University of Tsukuba. Was an assistant at the Waseda University’s School of Sports Sciences and an associate professor at Tokuyama University before assuming his current position in 2015. Publications include 1964 nen Tōkyō Orinpikku wa nani o unda ka (The Legacy of the 1964 Tokyo Olympics) and Shōgaisha supōtsu no rinkaiten (Achieving Critical Mass in Disabled Sport).
