Automobile researcher. Born in 1975 in Shizuoka Prefecture. After engaging in development work at an automobile manufacturer and a parts manufacturer, he switched to editing an automobile magazine. Became independent in 2013 and started work as a freelancer. Member of the Japan Car of the Year Selection Committee and the World Car Award Selection Committee.
