Yanagawa Noriyuki

Born in 1963. Graduated from the Faculty of Economics, Keiō University, in 1988 and completed coursework for a doctorate at the Graduate School of Economics, University of Tokyo, in 1993. Was a full-time lecturer at Keiō’s Faculty of Economics before becoming an assistant professor at the University of Tokyo’s Graduate School of Economics in 1996, and professor in 2011. Major publications include Hō to kigyō kōdō no keizai bunseki (Economic Analysis of Law and Corporate Behavior, awarded the 50th Nikkei Prize for Excellent Books in Economic Science) and Tōdai kyōju ga oshieru dokugaku benkyōhō (The Self-Learning Techniques of a University of Tokyo Professor).
