Yonemoto Shōhei

Visiting Professor at the Komaba organization for Education Excellence, University of Tokyo, and the Research Institute for Humanity and Nature. Specializes in the history of science, bioethics, and global environmental issues. Born in Aichi Prefecture in 1946. Graduated from the Department of Science, University of Kyoto; studied history of science independently while working for a securities firm. Previously a researcher at the Life Science Institute of Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings, and an adjunct professor at the Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology.
