Nagoya Embraces Legoland Mania

Nagoya, April 1 (Jiji Press)—Legoland Japan, an outdoor theme park featuring miniature Japanese cities made with millions of Lego bricks as well as a number of amusement rides, opened in Nagoya on Saturday.

The park has seven areas: Factory, Bricktopia, Adventure, Knight’s Kingdom, Pirate Shores, Miniland and Lego City.

Visitors can enjoy more than 40 different types of attractions and view Lego brick-built Nagoya Castle, Tokyo Skytree, Tsūtenkaku Tower in Osaka and many more features in major Japanese cities.

The first Legoland in Japan is located in the Kinjōfuto wharf area of the central Japan city's Minato Ward.

“I was very looking forward to the park’s opening,” Hirata Yūdai, a 9-year-old Lego fan in Nagoya, said, showing his annual pass for the park. “I want to take the Lost Kingdom Adventure ride,” he excitedly said.
