Akita Dog Maru Beats the Summer Heat

Maru, a young male Akita dog, is visiting the Akita Dog Hana no Sato Station in Yūwa, part of the city of Akita. This is a training and recreational facility for dogs of the Akita breed. Even though it is a hot summer day, he enjoys playing fetch with his ball. To beat the heat, he drinks water and rests in the shade. Now that the “dog days” of summer are upon us, let’s all take similar care against the risk of heatstroke.
