Capybaras soaking in a hot winter bath are a regular winter attraction at Izu Shaboten Zoo in Shizuoka Prefecture. There are five new entries in this year’s rodent rotenburo (outdoor bath), as cubs born in September take to the gently steaming water. The bath will be open until April 8, 2018, with occasional special variations like yuzu and other fruity additions, particularly at weekends. Photograph taken on November 20, 2017. (© Jiji)
