Festive Heights: Japanese City Celebrates “Hinamatsuri” with a Massive Doll Tower (Japan in Photos)

Elaborately dressed dolls adorn a red-carpeted tower in Kōnosu, Saitama Prefecture, as part of the city’s celebration of hinamatsuri, or doll festival, which is observed every year on March 3.
