Heavyweight Tuna Takes Center Stage at Tokyo’s Tsukiji Market (Japan in Photos)

A crowd gathers around a massive Pacific bluefin tuna auctioned at Tokyo’s Tsukiji market on the morning of March 13, 2018. The 460-kilogram fish was caught in waters off Wakayama Prefecture and sold for a whopping ¥8,740,000. It is the second-largest domestically sourced tuna ever to be auctioned at the market, the largest being a 496-kilogram bluefin reeled in near Miyazaki Prefecture in 1986. (© Jiji)
