Japan’s unemployment rate rose to 2.6 percent in February from 2.4 percent in the previous month, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications said Friday.
The job availability ratio also fell 0.01 point to 1.34, indicating there were 134 job openings for every 100 job seekers, separate data from the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare showed.
