Tritium level in sea near Fukushima undetectable after discharge

Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings Inc. said Friday that tritium densities in the sea near its Fukushima nuclear plant were below its detection threshold.
TEPCO began discharging water that has been treated and stored in tanks after cooling melted nuclear fuel at the plant at around 1 p.m. Thursday into the sea.
