URGENT: Baseball: Ohtani undergoes right elbow surgery: Angels

Los Angeles Angels two-way star Shohei Ohtani has undergone surgery on his right elbow, the club said Tuesday.

Ohtani was shut down for the season after tearing the ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow in late August. The right-hander also underwent elbow surgery on his throwing arm in October 2018.
