Bank of Japan Governor Kazuo Ueda on Friday underscored the need to persist with monetary easing as its 2 percent inflation target is still not in sight. Speaking at a press conference, Ueda said uncertainty over the economic outlook is extremely high, meaning it cannot foresee when a policy change may come.
