URGENT: Japan’s August industrial output remains flat on month

Japan’s industrial output in August stayed unchanged from the previous month, government data showed Friday.
The seasonally adjusted index of production at factories and mines stood at 103.8 against the 2020 base of 100, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry said in a preliminary report. In July, it was revised upwards to a decline of 1.8 percent.
