Japan logs 383.2 bil. yen goods trade surplus in June

Japan had a goods trade surplus of 383.2 billion yen ($3.5 billion) in June, government data showed Wednesday. Exports rose 48.6 percent from a year earlier and imports increased 32.7 percent, the Finance Ministry said in a preliminary report. For the first six months of this year, Japan logged a trade surplus of 985.0 billion yen.
