Japan's July jobless rate falls to 2.8% from 2.9% in June

Japan's unemployment rate in July fell to 2.8 percent from 2.9 percent in the previous month, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications said Tuesday. The country's job availability improved to 1.15 from 1.13 in June, meaning that there were 115 jobs openings for every 100 job seekers, according to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare.
