Japan's unemployment rate in October fell to 2.7 percent from 2.8 percent in the previous month, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications said Tuesday. The job availability ratio worsened to 1.15, down from 1.16 in September, meaning there were 115 job openings for every 100 job seekers, according to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare.
