Japan and France agreed Tuesday to coordinate closely in responding to the crisis in Ukraine, Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said. After phone talks with French President Emmanuel Macron, Kishida told reporters that the Russian invasion, a clear violation of international law, poses a serious challenge to Europe and Asia.
