URGENT: G-7 leaders say will speed up reducing reliance on Russian energy

Leaders from the Group of Seven nations said Thursday they will speed up reducing their reliance on energy imports from Russia, criticizing its "appalling atrocities" in Ukraine. "We will expedite our plans to reduce reliance on Russia for our energy, which include phasing out and banning Russian coal imports," the G-7 leaders said in a statement.
