Japan is planning to join a U.S.-led economic framework for the Indo-Pacific designed to push back against China's growing clout in the region, government sources said Tuesday. Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida is expected to make the announcement when U.S. President Joe Biden visits Japan early next week.
